New Tab in Safari (macOS)

Press Command + T to open a new tab in the current window.

What it does

What the new tab shows is a setting: the Start Page with your favorites and reading list, an empty page, or your homepage. The cursor sits in the Smart Search field, ready for an address or a search. Tabs belong to the window they were opened in and can be dragged to another window or out into a window of their own.
