Frame Selection in Figma (macOS)

Press Option + Command + G to wrap the selected layers in a new frame.

What it does

Frame Selection creates a frame around the layers you selected, sized to fit them. Unlike a group, the frame keeps its own size when its contents change, and it can carry auto layout, constraints, a fill and clipping. It is the usual first step before adding auto layout to a set of layers or turning them into a component.
