Grab (Move) in Blender (macOS)

Press G to start moving the selection.

What it does

The selection follows the mouse until you confirm with a click or Enter. A right-click or Escape cancels the move and puts everything back. While moving, press the key of an axis to keep the move on that axis, or type a number to move by an exact distance. The same command moves vertices, edges and faces in Edit Mode.
