Rotate in Blender (macOS)
Press R to start rotating the selection.
What it does
The selection turns around its pivot point as you move the mouse, by default around the axis of the view. Pressing the key of an axis turns it around that axis instead, and typing a number sets the angle in degrees. Pressing the rotate key a second time switches to trackball rotation, which turns freely in all directions.
