Center Text in Word (Windows)
Press Ctrl + E to center the paragraph between the margins.
What it does
The command applies to the paragraph the cursor is in, or to all selected paragraphs. Each line is centered between the left and the right margin, which suits titles, the lines of a cover page and short quotes. Pressing the keys again on a centered paragraph sets it back to left aligned. Alignment is a paragraph format and can be part of a style.
