New Message in Slack (Windows)
Press Ctrl + N to start a new message.
What it does
A compose view opens with a field for the recipients. Enter the names of people for a direct message, or the name of a channel, then write the message under it. A message you start and do not send is kept as a draft and waits under Drafts in the sidebar. For a message to several people Slack opens a group conversation.
