Jump to Unread in Slack (macOS)

Press Command + J to jump to the most recent unread message in the conversation.

What it does

In a busy channel the view often opens far from where you stopped reading. This command scrolls the conversation to the most recent message you have not read yet. A line with the word New marks where the unread messages begin. Once you have caught up, Escape marks the conversation as read.
