Group in Illustrator (macOS)

Press Command + G to group the selected objects.

What it does

Grouped objects select and move as one and keep their places relative to each other. In the Layers panel the group appears as one entry that can be opened. Groups can hold other groups. To change one object without ungrouping, double-click the group to enter isolation mode, where everything outside the group is dimmed and locked.
